How to Find All Secret Map Upgrades - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Guide

Unlock five secret map upgrades for Cal's Holomap when completing challenging exploration puzzles, Jedi Meditation Chambers, and complex Rumors. These map upgrades will display all unfound Seed Pods, Chests, Upgrades, Databanks, and Treasures on your Holomap in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

How to Unlock the Chests Map Upgrade

Map Upgrade: Chests

Prerequisites: Force Lift and Slam and Merrin's Charm
Location: Phon'Qi Caverns, Koboh

Before you can start exploring the Phon'Qi Caverns, which can be accessed through the cave found in Foothill Falls, you'll first need to obtain Force Lift and Slam, along with Merrin's Charm.

With those abilities unlocked, make your way to the Phon'Qi Caverns and begin navigating the tricky area, which will see you platforming your way through the caverns as you encounter several mini-bosses in the form of Lightsaber-wielding members of the Bedlam Raiders and the infamous Rancor along the way -- that's right, you'll need to fight another one of these pesky rock-like golems.

While the lightsaber-wielding bosses aren't overly powerful -- not much more so than any heavy trooper you'll face -- you'll want to ensure you're defeating them when given the opportunity; otherwise, you may just find yourself embushed by them all near the end of the area, which can definitely cause some grief.

Now, if you've been following the main path through the caverns, you'll eventually reach the end, where you'll stumble upon a room with a large white forcefield and a Terminal that BD-1 can slice -- now, this terminal can very easily be missed, so be sure to keep an eye out.

Upon slicing the terminal, you'll unlock the Chests map upgrade, which allows you to uncover all unfound Chests, Stim Upgrades, and BD-1 Upgrades on your Holomap.

How to Unlock the Seed Pods Map Upgrade

Map Upgrade: Seed Pods

Prerequisites: Plant all 10 species of plants and purchased all gardening plots.
Location: Plyoon's Saloon, Koboh

After recruiting Pili Walde, the Gardener from Jedha, you'll unlock the ability to start planting the Seeds you have discovered throughout your journey -- Seeds can be found by slicing plants that are surrounded by green fireflies.

Now, before you can unlock the Seed Pods map, you'll need to find all ten different Seed types, which include:

Koboh Spiker
Cactus Ball
Pine Fern
Bluebell Squish
Spine Fluff
Goldenlight Moss
Palm Fruit Shell
Tuber Maw
Fire Pineapple
Crimson Jelly Spire

Once all Seed types have been found, begin planting them in the available plots and wait until they're fully grown, which will see Pili unlocking the additional plots.

Once all plots have been unlocked, BD-1 will be able to access the terminal that's found by the water feature, which will no longer be covered in vines. Upon interacting with the terminal, you'll unlock the Seed Pods map upgrade, which will display all unfound Seed Pods on your Holomap.

How to Unlock the Upgrades Map Upgrade

Map Upgrade: Upgrades

Prerequisites: Completion of all seven Jedi Meditation Chambers.
Location: Alignment Control Center, Untamed Downs - Koboh.

Scattered about Koboh, you'll find ancient seven Jedi Meditation Chambers that require you to solve platforming puzzles in order to unlock their unique rewards in the form of Perks and Upgrades.

Upon completing each Jedi Meditation Chamber, you'll discover that each of the red screens in the Alignment Control Center, which can be accessed via the Untamed Downs, will begin to turn green.

So, upon completing all Meditation Chambers, make your way to the Alignment Control Center, where you'll find a terminal on the opposite wall that will become available for BD-1 to slice. This will unlock the Upgrades map, which will display all unfound Force Essence Upgrades on your Holomap.

How to Unlock the Treasures Map Upgrade

Map Upgrade: Treasures

Before you can access the Wayfinder's Tomb in the Central Ruins, you'll first need to complete all three desert ruin puzzles -- Explore the Ruins in the Northern Desert, Explore the Ruins in the Southern Desert, and Explore the Ruins in the Western Desert -- which will see you solving complex Force puzzles in order to move a ball to the top platform of each ruin. Doing so will unlock unique rewards in the form of Upgrades and Perk Slots.

Upon completing each ruin puzzle, a ball will appear in one of the three archways found on the platform that leads to the Wayfinder's Tomb.

Once all three have been solved, the balls will activate an elevator in the center of the platform that leads to the Wayfinder's Tomb, where you'll discover a Cosmetic Chest, a Force Echo, and a terminal that BD-1 can slice, earning you the Treasures map upgrade, which uncovers all unfound Priorite Shards, Jedha Scrolls, and Datadiscs on your Holomap.

How to Unlock the Databanks Map Upgrade

Map Upgrade: Databanks

While on the hunt for Bode at the Satellite Station on Nova Garon, you'll overhear a man by the name of Lank Denvik on the intercom system, alerting the Empire to Cal's presence at the base.

Eventually, after enough platforming through the base, you'll stumble upon the Central Command room, where you'll have the chance to convince Lank Denvik to call off the search during a lengthy cutscene.

With Lank Denvik taken care of and his uniform now in Cal's possession, head right from his desk immediately following the cutscene, and make your way toward a terminal that can be found along the wall.

When nearing the terminal, have BD-1 slice it, and you'll unlock the Databanks map upgrade, which will display all unfound Databank entries on your Holomap.
